(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) The Gwangju and Jeonnam Office of the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) carries out the China Highway Research and Development (R&D) Support Project to help small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) to enter the Chinese market.

The China Highway R&D Support Project is to ensure competitiveness of SMEs in the Chinese market through technology development at a time when Korea and China have reached the bilateral free trade agreement (FTA).

"The FTA between Korea and China will be an opportunity for the SMEs. Therefore, we ask the SMEs to participate in the China Highway R&D Support Project to make inroads into the Chinese market," said a SMBA official.
