(ULSAN=NEWSIS) Ulsan City announced February 18 that it has selected 15 research institutions and companies to move into the Ulsan Green Car Technology Center.
The tenant institutions and companies include the Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute, Futronic Co., Ltd., Egtronics Co., Ltd., MS Autotech Co., Ltd. and Innotess Co., Ltd.
The Center will sign a tenancy agreement with the institutions and companies in February and complete installing equipment and infrastructure.
The tenant institutions and companies will carry out research and development (R&D) in the future automobile sector.
The city completed the construction of the Ulsan Green Car Technology Center in January, 2016 to develop the future automobile parts industry.
“We hope the Ulsan Green Car Technology Center will become the R&D hub for future automobiles,” said a city official.
