According to Yonhap News,

An industry cluster where venture capital firms mainly focusing on 3D printing technologies is open in October in the city of Ulsan. In accordance with the plan, Ulsan city and Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency started to attract residents to move in.

The cluster has two five-story buildings, which sprawl across 14,481㎡ inside Ulsan Technopark. There are 56 separate business spaces for rent, two amenities, four accommodations, an equipment room set up with 3D printers and machines, lecture rooms and meeting rooms. The city government is now looking for those who move into the space for business within the building.

Application is open until Aug 20 and the result will be posted on the official website on Aug 24. Potential candidates must go through the second screening stage to get an approval for tenancy.

The selectees are authorized to run factories. They can also get a discount when using machines installed inside the cluster and can be prioritized if the cluster pushes on research or business projects.

In order to turn 3D printing industry into the next growth engine, both the city government and Technopark build out industry base, while forming a research center to advance related technologies.
