Ulsan city to funnel KRW 88 mln into biz- support programs to help local social enterprises

The city of Ulsan announced on Aug 24 that they’ve selected four separate projects designed to turn the community economy further thrive, supporting local social enterprises. The cost for the project is reported to total KRW 88 million.

By teaming up with Ulsan SESCOOP, the city government will step into the process of business marketing and branding (like logo designing).

Ulsan Nam-gu will take the role of PR publication, helping social enterprises expand sales networks, whereas Dong-gu will be responsible for a community rehab project through private-public partnership between enterprises and welfare facilities. Buk-gu is known to help businesses secure extensive access to public markets.

Ulsan city has already financed as much as KRW 424 million to 10 city projects in the first half of this year.
