Ulsan city hosted Ulsan Export Plaza 2020 Trade Fair on Oct 13-15
The city of Ulsan hosted “Ulsan Export Plaza 2020 Trade Fair” on Oct 13-15, with a couple of sponsors, Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency (UEPA)and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). This annual event mainly aims to help small local enterprises tap into overseas markets and sales channels.
This year, in particular, the event was held online to prevent the spread of the coronavirus at the presence of 15 local businesses. These participants met with 13 potential buyers from six countries from Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Russia and Mongolia and joined one-on-one virtual meeting to strike a deal to sell auto-parts, marine business and consumer goods.
KOTRA and Korea Trade Insurance Corporation also ran a biz-consulting session, as part of grievance resolution procedures in the course of export for SMEs hit hard by the economic fallout from the coronavirus-induced crisis.
Anyone interested in taking part in online exhibition hosted by Korea International Trade Association (KITA) were allowed to display their products and services, joint target-marketing events and virtual biz-meeting programs via KITA’s B2B platform, Trade Korea, by the end of March next year.
