Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority announced on May 26 that it would hold the 1st event inviting foreign guests to promote UFEZ focused on the hydrogen industry.

A total of 17 foreign guests will be visiting Ulsan, including the heads of hydrogen industry associations from 7 countries such as the US, UK, and Denmark, and officials from foreign embassies in Korea and foreign energy companies.

This event has been prepared in connection with the 'Global Hydrogen Industrial Association Alliance Forum' to be held on May 25-26.

Its goal is to commemorate the launch of the GHIAA of 18 countries from around the world, with an aim to facilitate the global hydrogen industry.

After having the official launching ceremony on May 25 in Seoul, it is planned to visit the exhibition of the World Gas Conference (WGC) held in Deagu on May 26, and visit industrial sites in Ulsan on the following day.

UFEZ Authority participated in Seoul's Forum on May 25, promoting Ulsan's 'Large-Medium-Small Enterprise Win-win Investment Online Platform' to discover promising companies in the hydrogen sector in Korea and abroad. On May 26, it is set to have an event for participating major foreign guests from around the world to Ulsan.

When it comes to further details of the schedule, it is planned to first visit Ulsan PR pavilion at WGC (Daegu Convention Center), elaborating on Ulsan's key energy projects and the strengths of UFEZ.

It will be followed by visit to Hyundai Motors, the world's biggest hydrogen car manufacturer, and visit to Ulsan Bridge Observatory to take a look at the industrial sites of Ulsan.
