According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan City announced that it will hold an 'Online Foreign Investment Promotion Consultation 1H 2022' on June 2-13 to revitalize foreign investment attraction (FDI), which has contracted due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the past two years.

It is jointly hosted by Ulsan-si and KOTRA's two overseas business centers, participated by 7 companies from 3 countries including Sweden, Norway, and Netherlands who are interested in Ulsan's hydrogen industry and Northeast Asian oil and gas hub.

The city plans to promote advantages of investment in Ulsan including its future growth engines, such as its plan to become the world's best hydrogen city in 2030 and the creation of Northeast Asia oil and gas hub, and the region's industrial base.

Meanwhile, the city has decided to produce an online 'Newsletter' monthly to promote foreign investment attraction and distribute it to foreign-invested companies and potential investors.

In addition, it plans to conduct strategic activities in various ways, such as holding online and offline investment promotion briefing sessions, operating an investment attraction website in connection with Invest KOREA, KOTRA's organization dedicated to foreign investment attraction, and online investment attraction advertisements.
