According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan-si unveiled its plan to build a plant manufacturing key parts for petrochemical equipment.

The Korea Seal Line Co., Ltd is in charge of constructing the plant in the GW General Industrial Complex, located in Naegwuang-ri, Ulju-gun.

The plant to be built would have two stories with the floor area of 4,37 square meters on the 7,122-square-meter site.

The construction starts no later than next February and is to be completed by next October.

A total of KRW7.8 billion is injected into the project.

Meanwhile, the name of the product is known as 'Metal Melrose Seal'

Installed on the axis of a body of rotation, the seal is a core component that prevents leakage and controls the amount of gas or liquid of high temperature or pressure.

Launched in Seoul in 1989. the Korea Seal Line has maintained a strong foothold as Ulju's local enterprise for over 20 years since it transferred the headquarters and facilities to the region in 1999.

By applying the micro-plasma welding technology, the company first commercialized the Metal Melrose Seal durable against high pressure and temperature, as well as vibration or deformation.

"Taking this opportunity, we'll consolidate our leading position while hiring Ulsan citizens to create jobs and boost the local economy," said Ji Yong-gyu, the head of the company.

Accordingly, Ulsan Mayor Kim Du-gyum said, "we will not spare any attention and support so that Ulsan together with the Korea Seal Line could advance globally."

Later on the day, Ulsan-si and the Korea Seal Line inked a MoU at the city hall.
