On January 29, Ulsan-si announced that it has established '2024 Trade Support Policy' to help local SMEs expand exports.

This policy contains 21 projects in 4 areas including ▲ supporting overseas market development ▲ support packaging for exports by growth stage ▲ supporting overseas marketing and ▲ bolstering capacity to respond to the trade environment.

The total project cost is totaled at KRW 2.272 billion.

By area, the city will dispatch SMEs overseas trade delegation and market development delegation and support the participation of SMEs in famous overseas trade fair and exhibition to support the development of overseas markets.

Regarding support package for exports by growth stage, the city will provide customized support by dividing SMEs into export beginners, promising exporters, and export hidden champions, based on their export performance.

In particular, the city will support the discovery of export beginners to help SMEs focused on domestic market to grow into promising and strong exporters.

To support overseas marketing, the city will expand support international express overseas logistics costs and overseas promotion of SMEs.

The city will also strongly monitor related trends to help companies respond to the rapidly changing trade environment.

It will also keep communicating to provide the projects that companies want timely.
