According to Yonhap News,

On February 13th, the Ulsan Free Economic Zone Authority (UFEZA) embarked on a tour of hydrogen industry sites in Ulsan with a Canadian delegation.

The purpose of this visit was to help Canadian companies interested in hydrogen terminal and infrastructure development find potential local partners in Korea and explore investment opportunities in the Ulsan region.

Eight Canadian representatives from organizations such as Edmonton Global, the Alberta Industrial Heartland Association (AIHA), and the Canadian Embassy in South Korea, as well as officials from Hanwha Ocean and Hyundai Construction were included.

In the morning, the group visited the Ulsan Port Authority and Korea Energy Terminal (KET) to tour the site for the creation of an eco-friendly hydrogen hub and the large-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil storage facilities.

The delegation will then discuss potential areas for collaboration between the two regions on hydrogen industry development, including hydrogen utilization in Ulsan, hydrogen energy transportation, and the development of hydrogen terminals.

In the afternoon, the delegation will experience innovative technologies related to hydrogen energy through a visit to the production plant for Hyundai Motor’s hydrogen electric vehicle "NEXO" and the plant of Approtium, a leading hydrogen supplier in the domestic market.
