According to Yonhap News,

On May 28, Ulsan-si announced that it will be sending a "Middle East Energy Market Development Delegation" in collaboration with KOTRA Ulsan Support Center and is recruiting participating companies.

The market development delegation will explore opportunities to enter the Middle Eastern market through export consultations with local overseas buyers in Istanbul, Turkey, and Kuwait from August 18 to 23.

The target companies are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ulsan that are involved in energy and power equipment. Applications can be submitted through the Ulsan Trade Support System by June 12.

A total of 10 companies will be selected after an assessment on the possibility of consultations arranged by the overseas trade offices.

Selected companies will receive support including one-on-one export consultation opportunities with connected buyers, one-way airfare, travel insurance, and dedicated interpreters.

For more details, information can be found on the announcements of Ulsan Trade Support System and KOTRA’s Trade Investment 24.

A city official stated, "We hope this will be a practical help in diversifying the overseas market channels for local SMEs. We will actively support companies in developing new markets and enhancing their export competitiveness."
