According to Yonhap News,

On July 17, Ulsan-si will hold a welcome ceremony at the city hall reception room to celebrate the relocation of the headquarters of Capro, a semiconductor chemical product manufacturer, to Ulsan.

The event commemorates Capro’s official relocation of its headquarters to Ulsan in May, and serves as a platform for the city and Capro to jointly declare their commitment to collaborate in promoting eco-friendly future industries and building a sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Along with the headquarters relocation, Capro has recently completed the largest hydrogen shipping center in the country in Ulsan, accelerating its transformation from a traditional petrochemical-focused company to a hydrogen-based energy firm.

Ulsan-si and Capro will announce a Joint Vision Statement for Sustainable Industrial Transition.

The statement includes strategic cooperation in digital transformation and future energy sectors, local job creation and talent development, realization of responsible management based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and the establishment of a public-private cooperation model.

A city mayor stated, "I am confident that Capro, equipped with world-class technology and expertise, will open a new horizon for the chemical industry by creating synergy with Ulsan’s strong industrial foundation. We will continue to provide diverse administrative and financial support to businesses wishing to relocate their headquarters or establish operations here."
