According to Yonhap News,

On September 1, Ulsan-si announced that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 'Deokyang Energen,' a manufacturer and supplier of fuel gas and pipelines, to establish a hydrogen delivery center.

Under the agreement, Deokyang Energen will invest KRW 22 billion to build a hydrogen production plant and delivery center on a site in Hwangseong-dong within the Ulsan Mipo National Industrial Complex. The facility is expected to be completed by October next year.

The center will have a hydrogen supply capacity of 2,400 N㎥ per hour (normal cubic meters; 1 N㎥ = 1,000 liters), which is enough to simultaneously charge approximately 10 hydrogen buses, according to the city.

The company plans to prioritize hiring Ulsan residents, contributing to local job creation and economic revitalization.

Ulsan-si will closely cooperate with the company and provide active administrative support, including permitting and other necessary services, to ensure the smooth execution and establishment of the project.
