The project is aimed to attract tourists by developing green tourism resources to represent the characteristics of each region and form pedestrian-oriented green roads.

Amenities will be set up nearby the road such as rest areas and coastal decks.

'Ganjeolgot - somang green road' includes 'Seashore design project' and 'Ganjeolgot neighborhood park project,' which have already been pushed forward by Ulju-gun, and will lead to Gori nuclear power plant.

Ulju-gun said "'Ganjeolgot - somang green road' will contribute to promoting our pristine natural environment and atomic energy which is touted as green energy."
