According to Yonhap News,
Ulsan City will hold the seminar on international finance at Lotte Hotel Ulsan on April 17th in a bid to find out measures to develop the Ulsan region into a financial hub.
According to Ulsan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Ulsan CCI) on April 19th, Professor Jeong Chang-mu of Seoul National University will give a presentation on ‘cases and implications of advanced foreign financial cities’; senior researcher Kim Byeong-deok of Korea Institute of Finance on ‘development strategy of Busan to become a financial hub and potential synergy effects in association with Ulsan’; and Director Lee Chang-hyeong of Ulsan Office of the Bank of Korea on ‘measures to nurture Ulsan into a financial city.’
Also, administrative bodies, companies, and relevant organizations will take part in the seminar to discuss how to share responsibility in making an international financial city.
