MOU between Ulsan CCI & Singapore branch of World-OKTA
Ulsan CCI signed an MOU with the Singapore branch of World-OKTA to support SMEs in advancing into the Southeast Asian market.
Ulsan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Ulsan CCI) signed an MOU to support small- and mid-sized companies in venturing into Southeast Asian countries with the Singapore branch of World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations (World-OKTA) on April 22nd.
According to Ulsan CCI, the Singapore branch agreed to aggressively cooperate in assisting SMEs of Ulsan which venture into the Southeast Asian markets and to serve as an agent if necessary.
Also, they agreed to exchange information on trade promotion and economic cooperation between Korea and Singapore.
They will cooperate for conferences held by either of them, dispatch missions, support companies advancing into each other’s country, conduct research activities, and operate training programs.
Ulsan CCI Chairman Choi Il-hak said “Singapore is the model of Ulsan which aspires to become the oil hub of Northeast Asia and an international financial city,” and added “we expect that the MOU will consolidate the economic cooperation between the two countries and contribute to Ulsan companies’ success in overseas markets.”
