According to Yonhap News,

Hyundai Foreign School is accredited by the Council of International School(CIS).

On June 14th, Hyundai Foreign School said that it passed all the tests of CIS.

Spain-based CIS is a non-profit membership association that establishes operating and management standards.

CIS has been looking ino the five categories over one year- educational ideology and goals, education programs and school management, service for employees and students, educational environment and school resources, and community activities.

5 out of 47 foreign schools in Korea are accredited by CIS.

Hyundai Foreign School was established in 1982 by Hyundai Heavy Industries for foreign workers dispatched to Ulsan. It has 13 classes of 11 grades. Currently, 130 students from 30 countries are studying.
