According to Yonhap News,

Exports of Ulsan marked USD 9.57 billion in July, making Ulsan the top in terms of exports among provinces and metropolitan cities in Korea. Ulsan has ranked 1st for the six consecutive months this year since February.

According to Ulsan branch of Korean International Trade Association, exports in Ulsan increased by 54.4% year-on-year.

Imports amounted to USD 7.34 billion, recording USD 2.23 billion in trade surplus.

Except ships, exports of petroleum, petrochemistry, automobiles and auto parts showed an increase.

Exports of petroleum products enjoyed the boom in China, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore. Exports of petrochemical products showed an upturn in China Taiwan, India and the US.

Exports of automobiles marked the upswing in the US, and supply of auto parts to overseas factories shot up.

However, exports of ships declined by 25% year-on-year with USD 900 million.
