ULSAN < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Korea International Trade Association said on September 28 that exports in Ulsan rose 56.6% to USD 8.047 billion.

Total amount of exports from January to August this year increased by 28% compared with the same period of last year.

Trade surplus stood at USD 30 million in August, and USD 11 billion from January to August.

By export items, exports of petroleum products, petrochemical products, automobiles, auto parts, and shipbuilding shot up 80.5%, 44%, 23.7%, 51.5%, and 72.4%, respectively.

Increase of petroleum product exports is attributable to an increase in export price unit and rising exports to China.
