Ulsan will conduct 20 projects for supporting SMEs

According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan said on Feb. 1 that it will spend 2.245 billion KRW in conducting 20 projects for supporting SMEs.

The city plans to dispatch trade delegation team consisting of 60 companies to foreign countries, give 80 companies the chance to participate in famous exhibition fairs home and abroad, hold consulting seminars inviting foreign investors and support SMEs to establish overseas branches.

In addition, it will provide export companies with translation and interpretation service, help Korean companies get the renowned foreign certificate or file an application for patent, offer information on e-trade, support Korean companies to develop into export companies, operate trade academy and FTA support centers and give the subsidy for export bond insurance.

Lee Gi-won, manager of economy and commerce in Ulsan, said, "We will enhance our supports for SMEs in order to make our region show another record figure in exports followed by last year."
