According to Yonhap News,

Ulsan Technopark held a workshop on technological cooperation in collaboration with Tomsk City, Russia.

The workshop attracted businessmen and engineers in Tomsk Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and International Science and Technology Center who made presentations about 16 cutting-edge material industries including chemical material technology, nano and metal materials and energy technology materials.

In addition, companies in the SEZ and Ulsan-based companies signed a technological cooperation agreement to conduct joint-research.

Ulsan Technopark had organized science seminars in 2006 and 2010, respectively, in partnership with Tomsk, which is affiliated with Ulsan City.

"The close relationship with SEZ, Russia's nano technology hub, will enhance Ulsan's technological capabilities," said Sin Dong-sik, director of Ulsan Technopark.
