Ulsan Held Export Seminar in Thailand

According to Yonhap News,

Thai Market Exploration Group of Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an export seminar in Thailand.

Eleven Ulsan-based companies that participated in the group provided 80 Thai companies in the automotive component, plant, machinery and construction sectors with consulting services.

Cha Eui-hwan, who chaired the group, said, "Thai companies were surprised by the quality of our products. We expect our consulting services to lead to export contracts."

The 12th Ulsan CEO Academy Course

Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ulsan Development Research Institute held the 12th Ulsan CEO Academy Course with inviting Kim Jae-hyeon, director of Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology.

Director Kim, said, "Advancing our chemical technology is prerequisite to making Korea join the ranks of advanced countries. Especially cultivating small but strong chemical companies is important."

He also emphasized the importance of chemical technology, saying, "Some think that development of automobiles, computers, electronics and telecommunication is attributable to enhancing convenience of our lives. Without the foundation of chemical technology, however, we can't produce anything."
