Ulsan Administrative Vice Mayor O Sets to Visit New Zealand to Expand Cooperation in Mountain Tourism

According to Yonhap News,

O Dong-ho, Ulsan's administrative vice mayor, will visit New Zealand and Australia during this week.

O will ink a memorandum of understanding with the representative of Queenstown, New Zealand's famous tourist attraction called "the Alps of the southern hemisphere" on cooperation for Ulsan-Queenstown Mountain Tourism.

He will visit the construction site of bicycle trails with officials of the New Zealand's central government to benchmark New Zealand's advanced system on bike trails.

And then he plans to meet mayors and governors of Oceania in Sidney, Australia to discuss how to expand cooperation between Ulsan and Oceanian cities.

"Vice mayor O's visit to New Zealand will help Ulsan's efforts to establish cooperation among the world-famous cities using Alps as its brand name," said an Ulsan official.
