The facility directly supplies hydrogen to consumers from the pipes of a company where byproduct hydrogen is produced.

The city made an investment of KRW 8.8 billion including the government budget and private support.

Ulsan city, Ulsan Technopark, SPG Corporation in charge of hydrogen supply and safety management, Fuel Cell Power responsible for fuel cell manufacturing and installation, Hyundai Hysco, Hyosung, GS Caltex and LS-Nikko Copper Inc participated in the project.
