(ULSAN = Newsis) Ulsan-si and Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency will provide support for the venture companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to promote new technologies and products in the domestic market, according to an announcement by the city on February 5.

It aims to provide support for various marketing costs related to production of PR materials, development of an online shopping mall and other to 25 companies, which possess high quality products but struggle to promote their products in the markets.

The city will assess certification, technological capabilities, growth potential and profitability, and subsidize a total of KRW 100 million to the companies. Production of PR materials will be provided subsidies within the range of 50 percent of the production costs, up to KRW five million.

Eligible venture companies or SMEs can submit their applications to Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency by February 28.
