According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) The Ulsan Customs recorded a trade surplus of USD 1.83 billion in November based on customs clearance.

The export volume in November was USD 7.86 billion, an 8.1 percent decrease than the previous month and 5.7 percent decrease year-on-year.

The import volume in November was USD 6.03 billion, a 12.3 percent decrease than the previous month and 19.5 percent decrease year-on-year.

The Ulsan Customs forecasted trade surplus for a while following the import decrease of raw materials in spite of economic recession in Europe and low yen.

The accumulated export and import volume as of November amounted to USD 86.66 billion and USD 77.75 billion, respectively, recording a surplus of USD 8.91 billion.
