After its establishment in November 2019, NurseConnect signed an agreement with Adventist HealthCare, a medical foundation located in Montgomery County, Maryland, to hire foreign nurses.
The United States is a country with a chronic shortage of nurses, with 22.1% of baby boomer generation nurses planning to retire within 5 years, and 83% of hospitals suffering from a nurse shortage.
In the case of developing countries, the number of nursing graduates is increasing every year, but the problem of unemployment among highly educated nurses is steadily rising due to the lack of medical infrastructure in the country.
In 2021, NurseConnect signed an MOU with 7 nursing colleges and 1 general hospital in Korea, and through services that combine education and HR, the acceptance rate for employment in the US increased from 30% to 85%.
After completing tests on necessary services in Korea, NurseConnect is being expanded to developing countries.
In 2022, NurseConnect signed an MOU with Uganda's Ministry of Health, the Kenyan Overseas Talent Development, and establish a liaison office in the Philippines.
NurseConnect is building a web platform, scheduled to be launched in the first half of 2023, and through this platform nurses in developing countries can receive free training and get a job at the US HealthCare Organization.
