According to Yonhap News,

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on May 12 that it participated in the International Defense Exhibition in Bratislava (IDEB 2022) held in Slovakia recently and carried out marketing activities for domestically-developed light attack aircraft FA-50 as a candidate model for the Slovak advanced training and light attack aircraft.

KAI also discussed the status of preparations for industrial cooperation between the two countries with the Slovak Defense Industry Association.

KAI exhibited the KF-21 fighter, the FA-50 light attack aircraft, and the LAH light-armed helicopter at the IDEB 2022, and also held talks with potential export markets in need of replacing aged fighters such as Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Croatia and Finland, including Slovakia.

In addition, KAI met with Lockheed Martin, a joint marketing partner for FA-50, exchanging information on characteristics and trends of NATO, EU, as well as Eastern European markets and shared strategies for export expansion.

The IDEB has been held every other year since 2006, and it was the first time KAI participated in this exhibition where more than 70 defense science and technology companies from around the world participated.
